About Us

Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center has been another way the community was able to support Robin’s Home.

After over a year of dedicated service to the community, Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center regretfully announces its closure. The decision to close the store was not taken lightly, and we want to express our gratitude to our loyal customers, donors, and the Butler community for their unwavering support over the years.

Despite the closure of Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center, our commitment to serving veterans in our community remains strong. We are excited to announce the opening of a new venture that will continue our mission of supporting those in need. Robin’s Home will be opening the Veterans H.E.A.R.T. Resource Center, a dedicated space to serve veterans in our community, in March 2024.

Robin’s Home is 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides a full continuum of care for homeless, unstably housed and low income female veterans and their children. Robin’s Home is located in Butler, PA but we serve women veterans in seven counties: Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Erie, Lawrence, and Mercer counties.

Robin’s Home has been able to help female veterans find work and move into independent housing. We receive many physical donations to help support our female veterans and sometimes we receive more items that we can use. We have been storing the extra items, but because our storage space is limited we’ve sometimes had to turn donations away. By opening the Robin’s Home Thrift Store and Donation Center, we were be able to put these generous donations to work by including them in our new thrift store. Items sold throughout thrift store helped us continue to support our female veterans – through housing, support services and programs, and hopefully some day through the opening of another Robin’s Home location.
